about

This probably will sound pompous, but genres are too restrictive. I'm sure every musician has said or thought that at one point but despite the artistically pretentious attitude you probably hear in that, it's true. Most music doesn't fit in neat genre boxes with well defined parameters. It's almost impossible make every classical song fit into the genre of classical music. Music is far more fragmented and franensteined than that.

Music blends and changes all the time. Rock and roll was birthed from blues, jazz, folk, and everything that came before it. Hip hop was the child of funk, soul, jazz, rock, and DJing all mixed together. Music isn't static and neither are our tastes.

Why am I talking about this?

This album was pretty much my attempt to answer the question, "What if you combined hip hop, ambient, and IDM?"

It will probably confuse many people, but that's okay, it makes sense to me. And will probably make sense to other people.

Enjoy the mashups, the artistic collisions. Pull up a chair, pop a beverage and enjoy the Apocalyptic Roadtrip through the beautifully barren wasteland.
